Thanks so much for this lesson. We have gone over complex sentences before but it still seems that the kids don't get it. I think I will use this in a small group and use and actual basketball with which they can be ridiculous. Thanks again for me not having to reinvent the wheel!

I am a teacher intern and I am having my clinical observation by my content supervisor on Wednesday. I found your lesson plan very helpful and have modified it for my lesson plan for my fourth grade students. I thank you so much for the suggestions. Ironically, The story of Michael Jordan is very timely, I looked it up and his birthday is on Tuesday.
