Writing Down the Bones by Natalie GoldbergThis is a featured page

Goldberg, Natalie. Writing Down the Bones. Shambhala, 1986. The chapter titles are themselves "hooks" that lead to wonderful discussions of the most basic writing "rules". Students' favorite is "Writing is Not a McDonald's Hamburger". The humorous tone of the chapters makes them easy to read yet they're rich with ideas. Contributed by Jan Reeder 1991 Invitational Participant.
